Last night my brother invited my sister, husband, and I over for dinner. As we sat around the living room talking and laugh, I was suddenly back during our childhood. Back when there were only three of us children riding bikes, swimming in our kiddie pool, and catching lightening bugs.
As I sat there soaking it all it, I wondered where the time had gone. How did we suddenly get thrust into this life of adulthood? But I think back on all of the memories with my siblings and I smile. Life has been good. Life is good. But life is also changing and that’s good too. We’ll adapt as we add another member into the family.
So today I am so very thankful that I am able to cherish even the smallest bits of time I get with my siblings. I’m thankful for the memories, I’m thankful that they are not only siblings, but friends as well. I’m thankful for family and I cherish every moment I have with them.
